Head of Sales

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive, reliable and detail-oriented team member to support our Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in a fast-paced start-up environment and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of the sales process for a dedicated market segment and orchestrating it with Marketing, LeadGen and Customer Success Management  
  • Gaining a deep understanding of the challenges within your customers Procurement Processes and providing a compelling state of the art SaaS Solution 
  • Closing the first pilots and upselling deals to establish a framework to enable long term business growth  
  • Identification of the decision-makers in the company and acquisition of new sales opportunities  
  • Implementation of all sales activities in your customer area  
  • Pro-active, initial contact by telephone or in writing with potential customers  
  • You understand the needs of our customers and always come up with new ideas to communicate with them  
  • Presenting our solutions online and onsite to our customers  
  • Development of the existing leads of our startup  

Qualifications and Skills

  • Min. 4-5 Years of profound B2B sales experiences in Enterprise (SaaS-Software) 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team  
  • You are goal-oriented, structured and strong in closing  
  • Winning a customer is the ultimate feeling for you  
  • A “no” from a potential customer is the biggest motivation for you to keep trying  
  • Experiences in the field of procurement, purchasing, and negotiation is a great plus 
  • Experience in dealing with senior and middle management as a customers 
  • You have the ability to communicate at executive level and navigate corporate environments 
  • Experience with CRM systems (we use Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus 
  • Experience with social selling (especially with LinkedIn) would be also great 
  • Experience within the SAP Ecosystem S4Hana SAP Ariba is also a big plus  
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (German Nice to Have)
